Prior to the start of the first practice week for teams in the Spring, BHGS holds a donut social. The executive board holds an introduction on who they are and what to expect for the league. The players, parents and families get to come together to meet their coaches, their team, and pick a team name after finding out what color they are for the season. The players really love that part. The coaches will designate additional help (assistant coach(s), team manager(s), female chaperones) for the executive board and go over the expectations for the team and the parents will obtain valuable information about the upcoming season.
