Branham Hills Girls Softball is for girls as young as four years old and the rules of play are adjusted to appropriate level for each age division.  For the youngest girls, the league uses softer and larger balls to make it easier for the girls to catch, with the ball changing for each division as the girls get older.  The league helps girls develop their batting skills advancing through hitting off the tee, coach's soft pitch, and up to player fast pitch as appropriate.  Base distances get farther apart and the rules for running bases change through the developmental capabilities of the girls, too.  Finally, fielding rules are adjusted for each level.  Safety, developmental capability, and fun are at the core of the rules for the league.
