2012 Registration: is closed

 

 General Information

• Everyone is placed on a team, No experience needed. Everyone plays.
• Buddy plan for 6U, 8U and new players, when possible.
• 6U and 8U focus on introduction and basic skills.
• 10U, 12U, 14U are competitive and fun and may travel to play other leagues.
• Games and practices are at Alta Vista School.
• Division practice and game days will be determined after teams are formed.

Registration Checklist

The following items are required to complete registration: 

• Name, address and telephone number of child’s doctor.

• Medical insurance policy name and medical record number.

• An emergency phone number in addition to home and work.

• Jersey and sock sizes (they are included in the price).

• Cash or check payable to “BHGS” or pay on-line with a credit card. (Payment plans by credit card can also be selected on-line.)

Registration Dates

In-person registrations will be held at Round Table Pizza at Cambrian Park Plaza (close to the corner of Union & Camden)

In-Person Registration

• Sunday 11/13/11 1pm to 4pm (Round Table Pizza)
Divisions

Your daughter’s birth year determines in which division she should play:
6U: 2005-2006
8U: 2003-2004
10U: 2001-2002
12U: 1999-2000
14U: 1997-1998

Registration Fees

Registration fees includes ASA insurance, Union School District fee, participation trophy, uniform (shirt, hat, socks), yearbook and team photo.
Family Discount $20 per additional girl.
Scholarships are available. Refunds through January 2012.
6U – (age 6 and under) - $129
8U – (age 8 and under) - $169
10U – (age 10 and under) - $189
12U – (age 12 and under) - $189
14U – (age 14 and under) - $189

NOTE: This year there is no fundraising / coupon book fee!

 
Late Registration

(A $20.00 late fee will be charged  after Jan 9th 2012) Late registrations does not guarantee that there is a spot on a team. Note: High school players for 14u exempt due to high school softball tryout dates.

Evaluations - Divisions 10U, 12U, 14U

The coaching staffs in each division will be holding an evaluation to better balance the quality of players on each team in the upper divisions of recreational softball. Coaches will run the players through a series of softball drills to assess their experience level. All players registered in the upper divisions will participate in a group evaluation.

Evaluation date

Saturday 1/21/12 ( for 10U, 12U & 14U ) at the Alta Vista Softball Fields
10U: 9:30-11am, 12U: 10:30 - Noon,
14U: Noon - 1:30pm
