All divisions have practices up until Opening Day, March 10th.  After opening day the 6U, 10U and AAAA divsions will play games on their specified day.  The 8U division will start off this practices on Wednesdays and games on Saturdays and move to an all game schedule.  The 10U, and AAAA division will more than likely have additional practices each week which will be determined by your coach.

We are working on the schedule, but are waiting for the interleague schedule to be completed. The 6U and AAAA divison games can not be completed until I recieve the interleague schedule. ( teams playing on Mondays and Thursdays are effected by the interleague schedule)

Division Name Changes for Spring 2012

To more effectively address the mix of player skill and age levels that we have this 2012 recreational season, we are making a minor adjustment to Divisional naming terminology.  This also allows us to have a compatible structure to that of the surrounding leagues.

The divisions previously known as 12U/MSD and 14U are now known as AAAA Green and AAAA Gold Divisions, respectively.

The AAAA Gold Division team will still consist of the older / more experienced players and will play exclusively against teams from outside leagues.  The AAAA Green division consists of four teams and will mostly play within the BHGS league but also have  inter-league games against teams of a similar divisional level.

Please contact Kelly Dierkes, Dale Grogan or Debbie Lettow with any questions.

Thank you,

BHGS Board

PRE-SEASON PLAYERS PITCHING CLINIC: Paid for by BHGS

How are we offering this clinic at no charge?

Last year BHGS hosted a large summer tournament, "Thunder Thriller", that involved most of our summer Thunder teams. Many volunteer hours were invested in prepping, setting and resetting fields, covering  shifts in the snack shack, and general coordination of the event, before, during, and after. We had 40 teams playing in ages 10U, 12U and 14U divisions combined . It is a huge event and the proceeds are being put to good use by paying for these pitching clinics for our players.
